About: Raymond G. Miller

I was always interested in why people commit heinous crimes. Then I was hit with the ‘what ifs’…. What if a child who comes from an affluent family, a child who’d never experienced nor witnessed any kind of violence whatsoever was suddenly exposed to the worst kind of violence? What kind of psychological problems would this child develop?

The story of The Twins started off as a stand alone with a single child, a little boy, but after a few of my friends who were devoted crime fiction readers: James Patterson, Jeffery Deaver, Chelsea Cain, etc., stated that the story was good but it could be better. So, I went back to the drawing board and Stacey and Jannifer McHill were born. When I showed my buddies my latest creation I was told that The Twins were formidable opponents and that killing them off so quickly was a let down. So, I went back… to the drawing board.

When the smoke cleared I had written over two hundred thousand words. The story of twin serial killers —  who were 16-years-old females —  was something I haven’t read before. My buddies love it and so did I, and I hope that you enjoy it also.
